Saison VII
Die Formel-1-Saison 2018 ist die 7. F1-WM der VRC. Sie wird im Rahmen von 15 Wertungsläufen in der Zeit vom 19.10.2017 bis Juni 2018 ausgetragen.

Änderungen in Saison VII

Reglement:
Die Vergabe von Fahrzeugnummern wird in dieser Saison erstmals ausgesetzt (s. Reglement). 

Fahrer:
Der amtierende Weltmeister Verstappen_F1 führt mit seinem Manor-Kollegen Poffers einen Doppelwechsel zum Werksteam Renault durch.
Illobrand quittiert nach drei Jahren den Job bei Mercedes und heuert bei McLaren an.
Sterina löst den Vertrag bei Mercedes nach 2-jährigem Engagement auf und folgt Illobrand zu McLaren.  
Neuzugang Hasenmen wird neuer Stammpilot bei Mercedes. 
Joggl und DWO wechseln in die neu gegründete Klasse "B1".

Teams:
Manor beendet das Engagement in der Formel 1 als amtierender Konstrukteursweltmeister nach nur einer Saison.

Strecken:
In dieser Saison feierte die Strecke in Baku Premiere.
